General conditions of business and use of the online store www.stramex-pet.si are compiled in accordance with by the Consumer Protection Act (ZVPot), based on recommendations GZS and international e-business codes.
We advise you to carefully read the General Terms and Conditions below before using the online store. By using the website, you indicate your agreement with the stated conditions. If you do not agree with the terms, please do not use the online store www.stramex-pet.si. All changes are binding for buyers, so we recommend that you regularly review the General Terms and Conditions.

The general terms and conditions deal with the operation of the online store, the user’s rights and the business relationship between the provider and the customer.
By confirming the order, the user is aware of the general terms and conditions of business, the protection of personal data of the new European general regulation GDPR and the legal notice.
The consumer can change the quantity of ordered items in the basket and then proceed to checkout.
At the “checkout” the consumer can once again see the addressee and delivery address, which he can change if necessary at his own risk. Before placing an order, the consumer must agree to the “checkbox” terms and conditions, which are also available for viewing after ordering, for the duration of the order.
Regular user registration or guest registration (one-time purchase)
The buyer has two options for executing the order. The buyer can register as a user or make a purchase as a guest (in the case of a one-time purchase).
– User registration
Upon registration in the online store system, the visitor obtains a username, which is the same as his e-mail address, and a password. The user name and password unambiguously determine and associate the user with the entered data. By registering, the visitor becomes a user and acquires the right to purchase.
Each registered user has his own username and password, with which he introduces himself. The password is secret and known only to the user;
The user is obliged to ensure that only he or a person authorized to act on his behalf will act on his behalf and with his password.
For business purposes, the provider collects the following data: first and last name, company name, country, address and place of residence, e-mail address, username that is the same as the e-mail address, password in hidden form, telephone number, and other data that entered by the user in the form on the website www.stramex-pet.si.
By registering, the user agrees to receive notifications related to his order or system notifications. If he ticks the “checkbox” during registration, he agrees to receive notifications about special benefits and campaigns, presentations of new products and about possible current prize games.
The provider is not responsible for the accuracy of the data entered by the user.
Each registered user allows the use of his/her personal data listed above for the purposes of order fulfillment and other, order-related and necessary communication, as well as for the purposes of direct marketing and the study of purchasing habits.
Seller of goods Stramex PET d.o.o. has a computerized database, exclusively for the purpose of doing business with the customer who places the order (issuance of delivery notes, issuance of invoices, delivery of goods to the customer’s address…) Documents on the issue of goods are kept in the company for 10 years (in accordance with existing legislation).
– Login as a registered user
After registering on the online sales page www.stramex-pet.si, you can log in as a registered user. To log in, click the “login” button in the lower right corner of the website, where you will enter your E-mail address and the password you specified when registering your account. If you have forgotten your password, please use the “Forgot password” option and you will receive an email with further instructions for resetting your password.
Important: If you do not receive the password email within a few minutes, please check your Spam/Spam/Junk folder.
– Log in as a guest
With such a registration, the customer does not receive a password. The buyer puts the selected products in the basket and then presses the button “checkout”.
In the checkout folder, the customer has the option to select “register” or “checkout as a guest”, in this case select “checkout as a guest”.
In the next step, the buyer must provide the information marked with a red star, the information is only necessary for the issuance of the invoice and the correct completion of the issuance documents.
We are not responsible for the accuracy of data entered by users.
Purchase process
With each product there is a square/button where the customer enters the quantity of the desired products and clicks on the “Add to cart” button. When he clicks on the button at the top right, under the inscription “Basket”, the quantity and total amount of the ordered products are displayed without the cost of postage. If you want to remove, reduce or increase the ordered quantity of a particular product, you will do so in the Cart.
Start the order completion process by clicking on the Basket and the “Checkout” button. The online store guides you through the following steps:

- step – order confirmation (at this step you can check the correctness of all data)
All this information is necessary for the issuance of the invoice and the correct completion of the issuing documents. Therefore, it is important that the customer provides the correct information.
The purchase is completed by pressing the “confirm order” button. After placing the order, the buyer will automatically receive a generated confirmation of the successfully placed order with instructions for payment to the specified e-mail address.
Information on the status and content of the order is always available to the customer on the provider’s website.
The contract for the purchase of the ordered products between the buyer and the provider is irrevocably concluded upon receipt of the order payment to the company’s transaction account. By clicking on the “confirm order” button, you confirm that you are familiar with the full text of the sales and payment conditions listed here and that you were explicitly warned of these conditions at the time of purchase.
Prices
The prices of products in the online store are stated in euros (€) and include VAT (value added tax), unless explicitly stated otherwise.
All prices in the online store are informative and may change without prior notice. The prices listed in the online store apply exclusively to purchases made via the online store.
The prices are valid at the moment of placing the order and do not have a specific validity in the future. In the event that the price of the item changes during the processing of the order, the price at which the product was ordered applies to the customer. The purchase contract between the provider and the buyer is concluded the moment the provider confirms the order. From this moment on, all prices and other conditions are fixed and apply to both the provider and the buyer.
Stock
In order to ensure better prices and more suitable logistics, it may happen that the product is not in stock directly in our warehouse, but is available from our suppliers. In any case, if the delivery deadline is longer than five working days, the customer will be informed accordingly.
Method of payment
The buyer has the option of paying:
– By pre-invoice (transfer to TRR). If you decide to make a purchase, you will receive an order confirmation by e-mail with further instructions for payment by advance invoice. Once it has been settled in full, you will be able to pick up the ordered goods at the address of Stramex PET d.o.o., Stranje 7b, 3241 Podplat, Slovenia; every working day between 7 a.m. and 2 p.m.
Cancel order
Received orders can be canceled by the user at no additional cost within one hour of making the purchase. Notification of order cancellation is possible exclusively via e-mail info@stramex-pet.si. In the e-mail, it is necessary to state “Cancellation of the order” and a description of the ordered item.
Exceptional disclosure of personal information
Data provided by the online store www.www.stramex-pet.si (or the company Stramex PET d.o.o.) collects and processes, will only be disclosed if such an obligation is stipulated by law, or in good faith that action is necessary for proceedings before courts or other state authorities and for the protection and realization of the legitimate interests of the online store www.www.stramex-pet.si or the manager of Stramex PET d.o.o..
Returning products
In accordance with the Consumer Protection Act (ZVPot), the buyer has the right to return purchased goods within 14 days without giving a reason. You must return the goods in their original packaging, undamaged and in the same quantity, and with all associated documentation. The product must not have visible signs of use. You must also attach the original invoice and information about your transaction account to which you want a refund. We recommend that you use a delivery service that allows you to track the shipment, and that you properly prepare the goods for transport (you can use the original packaging or other suitable safe packaging). Any return costs are covered by the buyer. We do not accept ransom payments.
In the event that the received goods were visibly damaged during the collection process, the buyer must notify us immediately (immediately after receiving the goods).
Upon return, the buyer can request a refund of the purchase price, which the seller returns to his transaction account no later than 14 days after receiving the notice of withdrawal from the contract. The company can withhold the refund of the purchase price until the moment of taking over the returned goods or until the consumer provides proof that he sent the goods back. In this case, the company must return the purchase price to the consumer immediately upon receipt of the package. In the online store, we also allow you to exchange the product for the amount of the purchase price.

We allow companies, independent entrepreneurs and other legal entities to return shipments of items within the warranty conditions. The listed organizations do not have the option of withdrawing from the contract within 14 days of receiving the goods without having to state the reason for their decision, as is the case for consumers (natural persons).
Warranty
The products have a warranty if it is stated so on the warranty card or on the invoice. The guarantee is valid if the instructions on the guarantee sheet are followed and upon presentation of the invoice. The warranty periods are indicated on the warranty sheets or on the invoice. Warranty information is also provided on the product presentation page. If there is no warranty information, the product does not have a warranty or the information is currently unknown. In the latter case, the buyer can contact the provider, who will provide up-to-date information.
Delivery time/pick-up of goods
Online shopwww.www.stramex-pet.si will do its best to make the goods available for pickup as soon as possible. The products are usually in stock, so it is possible to pick up the order immediately after receiving the payment of the advance invoice or from Monday to Friday, from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m.
If the product is not in stock at the time of ordering, the delivery deadline will be extended in accordance with the delivery deadline from the manufacturer. In this case, we will let you know the possible deadline for picking up the desired product.
Legal notice
The online store is owned by Stramex PET d.o.o., which also manages the online store. The contents published in the online store are the property of Stramex PET d.o.o. and may be used for non-commercial purposes, where they must retain all copyright warnings and therefore may not be copied, reproduced or distributed in any other way without the permission of Stramex PET d.o.o.

However, Stramex PET d.o.o. makes no guarantee or warranty as to the accuracy of the item information it receives from its suppliers. The information about the items on our site changes and when this is the case, we try to keep it up-to-date. Product images on the website of Stramex PET d.o.o. are realistic, but do not always represent the actual condition and quality of the item. Obligation of responsibility
The provider makes every effort to ensure that the information published on its pages is up-to-date and correct. Nevertheless, product features, delivery dates or prices can change so quickly that the provider is unable to correct the information on the website. In such a case, the provider will inform the customer about the changes and allow him to withdraw from the order or replace the ordered product.
Although the provider tries to provide accurate photos of the products for sale, all photos should be taken as symbolic. Photos do not guarantee product features.
The consumer’s right to withdraw from the contract
The consumer (the above applies exclusively to natural persons who acquire the article for purposes outside of their commercial activity) has the right to notify the seller within 14 days of taking over the articles that he withdraws from the contract without having to give a reason for his decision. The deadline starts counting one day after the date of collection of the items.
The consumer can submit the notice of withdrawal to the company on a form or with an unequivocal statement from which it is clear that he is withdrawing from the contract.

In case of withdrawal from the contract, the consumer returns the received article or by mail to the address of the company’s warehouse: STRAMEX PET d.o.o., Stranje 7B, 3241 Podplat, Slovenia, or brings it personally to the specified address.
The consumer must return the item to the seller undamaged and in the same quantity, unless the item is destroyed, damaged, lost or its quantity has decreased through no fault of the consumer. The consumer may not use the articles unhindered until the withdrawal from the contract. The consumer may inspect and test the items to the extent necessary to determine the actual item
condition. The consumer is responsible for a decrease in the value of the goods if the decrease is the result of conduct that is not absolutely necessary to determine the nature, properties and functioning of the goods.
The only cost charged to the consumer in connection with withdrawal from the contract is the cost of returning the items (which, in the case of shipping, is calculated according to the price list of the delivery service and depends on whether it is a shipment/package/cargo). The item must be returned to the seller no later than 14 days after the notification of withdrawal from the contract (purchase) was sent.
The consumer does not have the right to withdraw from the contract in the case of contracts, the subject of which is an article that has been manufactured according to the precise instructions of the consumer, that has been adapted to his personal needs
Payments made will be refunded as soon as possible, but no later than within 14 days of receiving the notice of withdrawal from the contract. The company returns the received payments to the consumer using the same means of payment that the consumer used (which is most commonly by payment to a transaction account), unless the consumer has explicitly requested the use of a different means of payment and the consumer does not bear any costs as a result.
In case of withdrawal from the contract where a bonus, discount code or promotional code was used, these funds are considered as a discount and are not returned to the user. Only the paid amount is returned to the user. When withdrawing from the contract, the gift voucher is considered as a means of payment and is returned to the user as a gift voucher, and the amount paid is returned to the user.
In exceptional cases, when the items are not returned in accordance with the ZVPot, we can offer the consumer the purchase of the item with appropriate compensation, which is determined in the minutes upon return. The purchase with a reduced value is taken into account upon confirmation of the consumer by e-mail. The consumer benefits from the aforementioned redemption fee only when ordering another item of the same or higher value.
The right to a refund of the purchase price in the case of warranty claims and material defects is more precisely regulated by the provisions of the Consumer Protection Act.
If the consumer decides to withdraw from the contract for the items that make up the set, he can request an exchange for the same set or a refund for the entire set. The consumer can exchange the item from the set in the event of a material defect or damage to the item, but cannot request a refund for it. In case of claiming the warranty of the item from the set, the manufacturer’s warranty period applies.
Out-of-court settlement of consumer disputes
In accordance with the legal norms of Stramex PET d.o.o. does not recognize any provider of out-of-court resolution of consumer disputes as competent to resolve a consumer dispute that a consumer may initiate in accordance with the Act on out-of-court resolution of consumer disputes.

A factual error
The consumer can assert his rights from a material defect if he informs the seller about the defect within two months from the day the defect was discovered. The consumer must accurately describe the defect in the defect notification and allow the seller to inspect the item. The seller is not responsible for material defects in the goods that become apparent after two years have passed since the item was delivered. A defect in the goods is considered to have already existed at the time of delivery if it appears within six months of delivery.
The consumer, who has correctly informed the seller about the defect, has the right to request the seller to: eliminate the defect in the goods or return part of the amount paid in proportion to the defect or; replaces defective goods with new, flawless ones or; returns the amount paid.
When is an error factual? When: the article does not have the properties necessary for its normal use or for circulation; the article does not have properties that are necessary for the specific use for which the buyer is purchasing it, but which the seller was aware of or should have been aware of; the article does not have properties and features that have been expressly or tacitly agreed or prescribed; the seller has delivered an item that does not match the sample or model, unless the sample or model has been shown for notification purposes only.
How is the suitability of the item checked? It is checked with another, faultless item of the same type, and at the same time with the manufacturer’s statements or indications on the item itself. The buyer must notify us of a potential material defect along with a precise description of it within the statutory deadline and at the same time allow us to inspect the item.
